It is well known that I am very proud of my relationship with Charlie Ritchie's fine magazine. I wrote fiction for years, but my very first commercial publication was in The Backwoodsman. This magazine has something for everyone, or atleast anyone interested in history, camping, fishing, pioneering, construction, learning primitive skills, frontier and wilderness life.
